Vocational Rehabilitation

Work Inc. has been serving VR since 1997. We work with the Supported Job Based Training and the Supported Employment contracts by helping VR customers find and keep gainful employment.

Sometimes a VR customer has finished some kind of vocational training or schooling, other times a customer just needs help stepping into the workforce, either way, when the customer and the VR counselor feel that it is time to get a job they contact Work Inc. In the intake we will set a vocational goal and decide how to meet that goal. From that point on a job developer will be assigned to the customer and Work Inc. will assist him or her to find a job and keep it.

Work Inc. will help VR customers with job searching, interview preparation, transportation issues, job site accommodations, job coaching and anything else that will help them to succeed. Work Inc. stays with the customer from start to finish. Sometimes all that our customers need, is to be pointed in the right direction when finding job leads, or deciding what field they want to work in. Other customers prefer more assistance. We will actually go into the interviews with them and do extensive job coaching after a job is found. Either way, Work Inc. customers are given the support that they need to succeed in the workplace. The goal of every placement we make for VR customers is to help them become independent in the workplace.
