Division of Services for People with Disabilities

DSPD Services

Work Inc. serves clients of Division for Services for People with Disabilities (DSPD) and Vocational Rehab (VR) in Salt Lake, Davis, and Utah counties. In addition, we are also able to work clients from the Ticket to Work program of the Social Security Administration even beyond the geographical reach of our local Utah service areas. Over the years we have served a variety of caseloads, including mental health, brain injuries and DDMR. We have had a great deal of success in helping customers to meet their needs and goals.

Supported employment

Working in supported employment has been a long time specialty of Work Inc. and we have had a great deal of success. Our high placement rate and long term employment retention of our clients help set us apart.

From the time of the intake to the customer’s first day on the job, Work Inc. associates are trained to be pro-active and to help each customer overcome barriers that may stop them from getting the job they want. We can help with all aspects of job search and maintaining employment success including resume building, job development, making contacts with employers, interview preparation, hiring orientation, setting up accommodations, and on-site training and success coaching.

At Work Inc., we specialize in placing our clients into competitive employment out in the community. Customers are placed in jobs and assisted to maintain long term employment. Work Inc. associates spend their time developing relationships with employers to help meet each customer’s individual needs.

Work Inc also has a long-standing relationship with VR. We ensure that every customer has the opportunity to receive services from them. We can help our customers through the VR orientation and intake process when appropriate.
